How long can creditors report neglagence on my credit?

I have considered filling bankruptcy but I was wondering, how long can creditors report to my credit. I was always told that they can only report for seven years, is this accurate??....i have several items on my credit that are going to be 7 years old next year and wasnt sure if bankruptcy would be the best option for me considering these delinquencies have almost reached the 7 years. Also, if a delinquent acct was sold to a collections company, then do the 7 years start over every time my acct gets sold? How exactly does this work?? A little background; most of the debt is from an eviction, reposetion, med bills, utility comp, etc..only $300 of the debt is from credit cards and my debt totals about $20,000.....thanks for any advice...also, I have not had any negative debt reported w/i the past 3 years or so, what is the best way to improve my fico score....i have heard that a secured credit card helps if u use it and pay it off every month/...thx again

The funeral home was listed as a creditor and was given the opportunity to contest the bankruptcy but did not do so at that time. Now they are taking all of us to small claims. Does this case have any merit? I feel they have forfeited their right to collect by not contesting being listed the bankruptcy. Am I correct in thinking this way?

In terms of credit score, I can answer half of that question. I was at a bankruptcy conference in Indianapolis last year where the speaker had worked for a major credit reporting agency for 20+ years, and he said that bankruptcy normally reduces your credit score by 75 to 150 points. I don't know how much a repo reduces your credit score, but if you can find out, you know what to compare it to. The guy said the credit reporting companies are hush hush about how your credit score is determined, so no credit reporting agency will give you a clear answer to that question, but loan officers might have an idea of what the repo would do to your score based on what they've seen it do to other peoples' scores. In terms of duration, a repo is on your credit report for 7 years, whereas a Chapter 7 bankruptcy is on your credit report for 10 years. A Chapter 13 bankruptcy is on your credit report for 7 years (same as a repo). Also, I'm not sure if credit reporting agencies even distinguish between a voluntary and involuntary repo. Please note that nothing in this posting or in any other posting constitutes legal advice; this is simply my understanding of the facts, which I do not warrant, and I am not suggesting any course of action or inaction to any person.

Everytime I log on to a computer on this game I cant figure out the right codes to hack it. I only get four tries to pick out of 100 or so words on the screen. Even when it says that the terminal is "easy" I get the same problem. How can I tell which characters on the screen to pick if I only get 4 tries? Hip hop and rap music video effects?

Hi.....I was trying to pull an effect for a music video im doing. There is a specific effect im looking for that is fairly popular in music videos. I dont know what its called and its kind of hard to explain. But, the effect im looking for is seen in a lot of hip hop and rap music videos. What im trying to do is to sync the video and audio in a way that everytime when the claps, snares, or the kicks hit in the audio, the video gets effected. For example the video goes to black and white on the kicks then to color in the other parts. Or a quick pan or zoom everytime the bass hits. I dont know if you know what I mean but take this as a thought....when you look at a boombox when listening to music, you can see the diaphram of the speaker expanding towards you when the bass hits. I know I can pull the effect off with cutting and splitting the scenes, but it will be too much work and im sure there is a specific name for this effect. I hope when people read this they do not judge...as I am only asking a question to make a decision. Over the past 3 years, my husband and I have lost about $1500 in income per month due to job losses and pay cuts. This was immediately after purchasing our new home during the housing market boom. My mom saw how stressed out we were, and came to us and asked us to move in with her as my father passed away 3 years ago unexpectedly. She wants to help us and in turn it would help her as she is by herself and could use help keeping the home repairs up not to mention she is terribly lonely. She doesnt want us to pay her anything, which would allow us to save a lot of money and get back on our feet financially and she also wants me to go back to school so that I will be able to get a better job in the future. (I was halfway done with school when I had my first child and had to quit.) We are very fortunate to have this opportunity. We currently have put our home up for sale and are in the process of chapter 13. I doubt we will sell our home with the housing market being what it is these days. So we made the decision that at the end of the school year we will move into moms. I will quit my job so that i may attend school full time, and we will convert to a chapter 7 bankruptcy, and let the house go into foreclosure. It was a very painful decision for us, and we have lost a lot in trying to keep up. My question to everyone is...if you had this opportunity would you take it? It is a gut wrenching decision for me and my family, so please dont think we are taking the easy way out.

They meet up and start going out in group, and in secret. because they were the daughters of the president or some important guy in India. anyway, one of the girls ends up "dating" this military (the mormon one) and they kindda fall in love and all. the whole movie is about how their love grows and all, between him being a military and having not much time to explore the outside world, and her, an indian girl super protected in her house. Then he has to go back to the US. and they decide to marry. the las scene is her in his house in the US and she is talking to her mother-in-law. she breaks a plate and starts to freak out and the mother-in-law tells her it's ok. Back in December, one of my best friends', we'll call him Dillon, was sent to a Children's home in Boulder City, Nevada.
